The majestic beauty of ‘The Fairest Cape’ is showcased throughout this tour. Our first day will lead us out of Cape Town as we head along the stunning Whale Coast Road (R44). The ride will visit ther Southern Most Point in Africa, Cape Agulhas. You will vist the nature reserve and view the place where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. moving on, the Overberg region makes for some dramatic wide open ‘big sky’country with vast windswept fields of the ‘whet belt’ leading towards the impossing ‘Langeberg Mountains’ with Swellendam at its base. Within less than an hour  from Swellendam the scenery changes once again as we head into the Little Karoo along Route 62; dry arid and home to thousands of rustic plant species and the home to thousands of Ostrich.

A night will be spent in a luxury tented game lodge, a lovely setting under the stars. The afternoon will end with a sundowners big game drive with stunning views sipping a beverage as you gaze onto the Swartberg Mountains. The next morning will see a later start after a relaxing breakfast and time spent meeting and feeding the rescue African Elephants (a favorite and memorable experience for all out guests). We head over the imposing and iconic Swartberg Pass and into the Great Karoo (asphalt only also an option). We overnight in the Karoo in an old period homestead offering authentic Karoo hospitality. The next day will see us venturing through the breathtaking Meiringspoort Pass before heading out along the Langkloof Valley, renowned for being the longest fruit growing region of the country, where we will cross briefly into Eastern Cape.

Storms River, on the edge of the Tsitsikamma Forest, here the forest and Storm River Mouth takes centre stage. This is the start of the famed ‘Garden Route’.  A relaxed ride along the ‘Garden Route’ (Natures’s Valley, Knysna, Wilderness) ith the day ending with yet more amazing mountain passes as we head back into the Little Karoo and spend a night on Route 62. Then… even more mountain pass riding takes us back to Cape Town.

A day or two extra spent exploring the Cape Town and surrounds (Table Mountain, Red Bus Tour, White Sand Beaches, Wine Farm Tours, Hiking etc.) can be enjoyed should you have the time.
