The Leinster Rugby team will play two URC matches in South Africa back to back in 2025 (sound familiar…).
Fly from Dublin (Thursday 20 March 2025) land Johannesburg (21 March 2025, Match in Pretoria). After what promises to be an epic encounter up on the highveld, it will be a magical week visiting the Panorama Route & Kruger National Park seeking out the Big Five and more.
The road-trip continues through the Kingdom of Eswatini (Swaziland) with a night spent in the planets last ruling monarchy, a powerful traditional Swazi Dancing display will be a highlight. We then continue down to the iSimangaliso Wetlands National Parks. Two nights spent in the St Lucia Estuary with a second Big Game Drive with a focus on Hippo & Crocodile as you enjoy this UNESCO World Heritage Site. A mere two hundred kilometers away, lies the city of Durban, home to the Sharks. After a night resting up a Durban City Tour will be offered. Followed by and earliest possible arrival at the stadium to take in the braai smoke and social rugby banter outside the ‘Shark Tank’ (Kings Park Stadium).
Sadly, over a week of Rugby and Wildlife Adventure, it’s time to fly from Durban back to Dublin on Sunday (30 March 2025)…
