Our longest tour experienced over 21 days and in excess of 6,000 km.
The ride traverses the achingly majestic South African landscape with it’s wide open spaces and ever changing scenery, offering up something new and diverse every day and at every turn. This tour touches on many of the country’s provinces and visits the neighboring countries of Eswatini (Swaziland) and Lesotho. The two landlocked Kingdom’s coined ‘Switzerland in Africa’ and ‘The Roof of Africa’ respectively, both have amazing mountain scenery and riding whilst being totally different.
Wildlife viewing is always on the itinerary. Big 5 game drives into the arid Little Karoo Game Lodge, the iSimangaliso Wetlands National Park and Greater Kruger National Park being on the agenda.
The riding will offer up amazing scenery and great roads on a daily basis. We will touch on the Great Karoo & ride through the Little Karoo along with the ‘Garden Route’ on the tour. In addition, Hogsback & the ‘Valley of Desolation’ will be visited (Camdeboo National Park). Other equally stunning visits will be the ‘Wild Coast’ & Oribi Gorge on the warm sub-tropical East Coast of the country.
